A Loving Legacy
At A Loving Legacy, my purpose is to honour every life with care, authenticity, and heart. With over a decade of experience in the funeral profession, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families from all walks of life through some of their most tender moments.
My work is about more than ceremony, it’s about creating a meaningful experience that feels true to the person being remembered and comforting to those who gather to say goodbye.
I believe that every farewell deserves to be as unique as the life it celebrates. My approach is gentle and grounded, built on deep listening and compassion. I take the time to understand each person’s story, values, and the little details that made them who they were. Whether it’s a quiet service at home, a heartfelt memorial among nature, or a traditional ceremony in a chapel, I work closely with families to craft something that feels personal and sincere.
What sets me apart is my commitment to walking alongside families, not just guiding them through logistics, but truly being present. I hold space for grief, love, laughter, and memory, allowing families to say farewell in a way that feels natural and healing. Each service I create is a reflection of connection, storytelling, and respect for the sacredness of goodbye.
At A Loving Legacy, it’s not just about closure, it’s about honouring a life, sharing love, and creating a lasting memory that continues to bring comfort and meaning long after the day has passed.
Meet Lisa Lee
My Journey to Becoming a Funeral Celebrant

Hello, I’m Lisa Lee Funeral Celebrant and Companion in Farewells.
Becoming a funeral celebrant wasn’t a path I sought, it was a path that gently unfolded before me. It has been shaped by life experience, deep compassion, and a genuine desire to support others during their most vulnerable moments. Over a decade ago, I found myself drawn to funeral service work, and I was privileged to be mentored and trained by some of the most respected professionals in the industry.
From my first day, I understood that this was more than a job. It was a calling. Over the past 16 years, I’ve had the honour of supporting families through quiet, private farewells. Every life has a story worth telling. Every farewell deserves care, authenticity, and reverence.
Now, as a funeral celebrant, I bring together all the threads of my experience, my professional training, my personal understanding of grief, and my deep love of community, to create meaningful, heartfelt ceremonies. I aim to hold space for families to say goodbye in a way that feels true to them, honouring each life with dignity, warmth, and respect.
